The 1981 report has been partially declassified several times. Although still heavily redacted, the report was significantly further declassified on 2 July 2003 and posted on the National Security Agency website on 8 July 2003. The NSA has also released audio recordings of Israeli radio traffic made by an NSA EC-121 aircraft flying over the USS Liberty on 8 June 1967, translations of these recordings, and other documents.
